JUVÉDERM® Collection of Fillers
JUVÉDERM®, and Voluma® are non-surgical facial fillers designed to address fine lines, deep creases and other aesthetic concerns of the face by adding subtle volume to treatment areas. These dermal fillers are composed of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the body that helps skin retain its moisture. Conveniently, there is no allergy testing or waiting period required prior to undergoing these treatments. The differences between the products are density and the length of time they last. Certain fillers are better for minimizing the appearance of fine lines, such as “smoker’s lines,” and some are better for nasolabial folds, cheeks and lips. They add volume to specific facial features for fuller, more contoured results. If you are unsure which filler would benefit you, Madi — our aesthetic nurse injector — will examine your unique needs and recommend which treatment would be most effective. These treatments can be administered with application of a topical anesthetic if desired, and they typically require little downtime.
RHA® Collection
Developed by Revance® Aesthetics, the RHA® collection offers the latest advancement in hyaluronic acid (HA) dermal fillers. As the first and only HA fillers approved by the FDA to smooth dynamic wrinkles—the facial folds that develop due to repetitive facial movements—RHA® products are resilient and meticulously formulated to move naturally with your facial expressions. Available from very few aesthetic providers, the RHA® collection can improve nasolabial folds and other dynamic creases for up to 15 months.
Neurotoxins
BOTOX® Cosmetic
BOTOX® Cosmetic is a popular injectable treatment designed to address key signs of aging, such as wrinkles, creases, and fine lines. The solution is composed of ingredients that temporarily relax the contraction of overactive muscles to diminish the appearance of facial lines, resulting in a more refreshed and youthful aesthetic. Common treatment areas include the forehead, “crow’s feet” around the eyes, and between the eyebrows. BOTOX® Cosmetic can be an effective enhancement option because it typically requires no downtime and can take as little as 10 minutes to complete for many patients.
Using an ultra-fine needle, BOTOX® Cosmetic is administered into the targeted areas in small injections. Results appear gradually and usually become apparent within a few days. Results from treatment typically last at least three to four months.
DAXXIFY®
DAXXIFY® is an innovative, FDA-approved frown line treatment designed to smooth “eleven” wrinkles with effective results that can last six to nine months — approximately twice as long as other injectable neurotoxins. Thanks to the product’s unique peptide-powered formulation, improvement with DAXXIFY® is able to outlast similar wrinkle-relaxing injectables. DAXXIFY® also doesn’t contain any human or animal byproducts and the effects can be visible as soon as the day after treatment.
Jeuveau™
Often considered “the next generation of BOTOX® Cosmetic,” Jeuveau™ is a cutting-edge injectable treatment designed to erase moderate to severe frown lines. If wrinkles between the eyebrows are making you look persistently tired or angry, Jeuveau™ can relax the facial muscles causing these creases to deepen. As a result, patients often appear younger, brighter, and more refreshed following injections. Jeuveau™ is distinguished by its ability to treat deeper frown lines than other products, as well as its status as the first FDA-approved neurotoxin intended for aesthetic purposes only.
