VirtueRF® Microneedling

VirtueRF® microneedling combines two powerful collagen-stimulating technologies to achieve tighter, smoother, and younger-looking skin: radiofrequency (RF) energy and microneedling. In the world of aesthetics, RF microneedling has proven to be at the forefront of effective skin rejuvenation. Microneedling, which uses a handheld device to create precise microchannels in the dermis, uses the body’s natural healing capabilities to slough off damaged skin and foster the growth of new, healthy skin cells. By delivering RF energy to the deeper skin layers at the same time as microneedling, new collagen and elastin fibers are formed to naturally lift and tighten the skin.

  • Loose, crepey skin on the face and neck
  • Rough skin texture
  • Dull or uneven skin tone
  • Wrinkles and fine lines

While the skin may be red for a few hours after RF microneedling, this is expected and should subside naturally — especially with the recommended post-treatment skincare. There is no downtime required after your appointment. The best results are typically seen with a series of three to four treatments spaced a few weeks apart, but our skincare professionals will develop a personalized treatment plan for your individual needs.

CoolPeel® with the Tetra CO2 Laser

CoolPeel® is the latest innovation in CO2 laser technology, which is considered by many to be the “gold standard” in treating superficial skin imperfections on the face and body. This laser treatment is an in-office procedure designed to remove, or “ablate,” damage on the surface of the skin, allowing for the natural regeneration of newer, healthier skin. Unlike other resurfacing treatments, this is done without harming surrounding tissue. Best of all, CoolPeel® requires little to no downtime after the 15-minute treatment and should not disrupt your normal daily activities.

Using the advanced SmartXide Tetra CO2 laser, CoolPeel® can treat the following skin concerns:

  • Poor skin tone
  • Sun damage
  • Fine lines and wrinkles
  • Acne scars, age spots, and other blemishes
  • Large pores or a rough skin texture

After treatment, some redness or tenderness — similar to the feeling of a sunburn — may persist for two to three days. Dryness and/or scaliness is also common during the initial healing period, so it’s important to keep the skin hydrated. As your face starts to heal, you should notice the regrowth of skin that looks (and feels!) much healthier, brighter, and youthful.

At Miller Cosmetic Surgery, we are thrilled to offer patients facial rejuvenation using advanced aesthetic technologies to better help them achieve their skincare goals. Reach out to our team to speak with a friendly member of our office or to schedule a skincare consultation.
