Surgery Travel Program
For many years, our San Diego plastic surgeon—Dr. Scott Miller—has been operating on patients from all over the country and abroad. While patient consultations are in-person, we offer Virtual Consultations for out-of-state and traveling patients at our office! Virtual consultations take place over Skype or FaceTime. After you call our office or submit an online request, our team will help you set up an appointment, and you will be given an easy list of instructions to follow for that day and time. If you have any questions at all about how to properly set up your computer for the consultation, don’t hesitate to ask!

Virtual Consultations
We have refined the process for traveling patients to make it easy, comfortable, and convenient. To experience your detailed medical consultation from the warmth and privacy of your home, just follow the simple steps listed below.
Step #1 – Register with our Practice
Our office must register you in our state-of-the-art, HIPAA-compliant, secure consultation computer program, TouchMD.
Please contact our patient care coordinator who will walk you through the process. (858) 453-3133
Once we have created an account for you, you will receive an email from TouchMD to login and change your password.
Click on the link below to fill in your new patient forms. Please email these forms back to info@millercosmeticsurgery.com.
Step #2 – Submit Your Photos
Next, you will need to submit your photos. To take photos with your cell phone, you will need to download the MyTouchMD app to your phone or tablet. The app will allow you to upload photos for your consultation with Dr. Miller directly to your file within Touch MD (See photo instructions section for the best photo views).
Step # 3 – Virtual Consultation
Once we have received your photos, we will coordinate a telephone call, along with a secure online consultation using join.me, for you and Dr. Miller.
During this Virtual Consultation, Dr. Miller will view your photos and discuss all of your questions and concerns. He will inform you of his recommendations based on your goals and, together, you will decide upon the best surgical or non-surgical procedures.
Step # 4 – Book Your Surgery
Once you and Dr. Miller have decided on a tentative surgical plan (to be confirmed in person before proceeding with any surgical or non-surgical procedures), Dr. Miller’s Patient Care Consultant will discuss surgical fees as well as logistics, payment, and financing options. She, along with Dr. Miller’s nurses, will help you coordinate all of your medical, surgical, and travel plans.

In the early 1900s, a thin strip of the peninsula would flood at high tide, giving Coronado the appearance of an island even though it never was a natural island. More than two million people visit Coronado each year to enjoy its near perfect weather, more than a dozen accommodations, 75 plus restaurants, and 200 shops and boutiques throughout the island.
